In October 2014 took place the first transport of radioactive substances of special vehicles cacl2 "V / O" Isotope "on the territory of Kazakhstan. As a customer made an international oilfield services company "Schlumberger Logelco cacl2 Inc..."
In cooperation with "Schlumberger Inc. Logelco." Of "V / O" Isotope "carry out transportation of ionizing radiation sources (IRS) on the basis of cesium-137, which are used in specialized equipment during the exploration of oil and gas fields. Transportation route was as follows: Moscow - Astrakhan - Aktau (Kazakhstan) - Pyt-Yah (Khanty-Mansiysk). The total length of the route was more than 6,000 km.
