In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have a key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Further information about HTTP API keys can be found in the Indico documentation. I have read and understood the above.
In conjunction with a having a key associated with your account, to have the possibility of exporting quaker steak and lube private event information quaker steak and lube necessitates the creation of a persistent key. This new key is also associated with your account and whilst it is active the data which can be obtained through quaker steak and lube using this key can be obtained by anyone in possession of the link provided. Due to this reason, it is extremely important that you keep links generated with this key private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately remove it from 'My Profile' under the 'HTTP API' tab and generate a new key before regenerating iCalendar links. I have read and understood the above.

New PB for Lavin & Irish U23 Record for King
Sarah Lavin (UCD AC) ran a brilliant new personal best of 8.25 seconds in the 60m hurdles final at the British Athletics Indoor championships in Sheffield on Sunday, February 9th. Lavin finished in third place and the time moves her to second place on the Irish all time lists behind Derval O Rourke hfc (Leevale AC) 7.84. Next race for Lavin will be the Woodie s DIY National Senior Indoor Championships in Athlone on the 15th and 16th of February.
Amy Foster hfc (City of Lisburn) hfc equalled her personal best when she finished fourth in the women s 60m final in a time of 7.33. The time was only .01 outside the World Indoor Championships qualifying time of 7.32 which she will now target at the Irish indoor championships next weekend. In the men s 60m Oliver Back (St Coca s AC) placed fifth in his semi-final in a new personal best of 6.82.
Caoimhe King (Aughagower AC) was in tremendous form in the women s triple jump by jumping a new Irish U23 record of 12.96m. King had a very consistent series of jumps with five of her efforts over the old record of 12.68m which she set in Athlone on the 26th of January. Kelly Proper (Ferrybank AC) finished third in the long jump in a season s best of 6.38m while Zoe Brown (Raheny Shamrock) showed improved form to finish in third place in the pole vault competition with a clearance of 4.16m (SB)
Katie Kirk (Lagan Valley AC) timed her finish to perfection to snatch third place in the women s 800m in a time of 2.06.76; there was no luck for Claire Tarplee hfc (Dundrum South Dublin AC) as she failed to qualify for the final of the 800m after finishing in second place in her heat (2.08.39).
Roseanne Galligan (Newbrige AC) was the long-time leader hfc of the women s 1500m final before being overhauled hfc in the last 400m. Galligan eventually finished in fourth place in a season s best time of 4.21.80.
Marathon specialist Paul Pollock (Annadale Striders AC) traded the roads for the indoor boards and recorded a new personal best of 8.09.54 for 6th place. Rory Chesser (Ennis Track) and Conor Bradley (City of Derry AC) finished 11th (8.16.03) and 12th (8.16.49) respectively; both times were season best performances. In the women s 3,000m Sarah Treacy (Moynalvey AC) finished in fourth place in a new personal best of 9.17.07.
Niamh Whelan (Ferrybank AC) finished fifth in the final of the 200m (24.79), having earlier hfc run a season s best of 24.56 to qualify for the final. Richard Morrissey (Crusaders AC) also ran a season s best when he recorded a time of 47.79 in the heats of the 400m.

The polls have closed and the votes are tallied we are thrilled to announce the results of PBP s second annual PB 2 process! To practice pyridine what we preach, last fall we invited PB organizers far and wide to help us brainstorm and prioritize project ideas for moving PB forward in North America. Then we asked everyone who donated to PBP last year to vote on which projects to fund in 2014. Here s the final tally: Project: Cost : Votes : Organizing for PB Toolkit $6,000 54 Develop Youth PB Campaign $6,000 43 Translation of Materials $6,000 39 Speaking Tour $6,000 30 Design Upgrade of Materials $7,000 21 Celebration of 25th Anniversary pyridine of PB $4,000 11
We committed to use half the money raised in donations to fund the projects with the most votes. Thanks to the generous contributions of 193 supporters, we raised over $28,000 total, so roughly $14,000 for PB 2 . This means that we can fund the top two projects above: an Organizing for PB Toolkit and a Youth PB Campaign!
Stay tuned for more info on these two projects! We’ll also do our best to move forward on the other priorities, through in-kind support and other revenue resources. And if you missed pyridine your chance to give and vote, please consider donating to PBP now, so that we can carry out more of your PB priorities.

Today marked the first day of competition of Andes Pacifico. The first thing everyone asked in the morning was "how did you sleep?" Obviously no one slept because everybody was anxious! At 7:30am competitors began to make thier way to the Aguila lift at the La Parva Ski Center analytical chemistry which is 2800 meters high. The lift leads to an area called Piuquenes that then goes on to Valle Amarillo. Special Stage One began with a fast section which then went into very loose singletrack or #antigrip followed by a rocky area with several little drops that a few riders crashed on before they realised what was happening. Then the track ended with a section of more than 30 switchbacks which is known to burn the brakes. This gave the riders an idea of what was coming for the rest of the day - very loose and dusty terrain and long, long descents. Special Stage Two began with a nice open and flowy trail which allowed the riders to go very fast. Our friend Chris Ball told us that he loved this stage, the fluidity of the trail and the wide open views which allowed you to see the immensity of the Andes. Special Stage Three is a classic for any enduro or downhill rider in Chile. We are talking about the famous Curve 16 and Curve 14 which today, for the second time in the history, were used in competition. These two trails made the Special last almost seven minutes and included the infamous and gruelling uphill on turn 14. The trails had lots of stones and ditches as they always do but which are larger than normal of late. This made riders sweat. At the end of this Special was a food station with fruit, sandwiches and Red Bull as well as a Santa Cruz and Mountain analytical chemistry Works mechanical station. analytical chemistry
Then came the longest liason and the biggest uphill of all the race. 1200 meters of altitude made all the competitors suffer and Sven Martin even mentioned that bikes should have a motor to do that type of climb. But all this effort analytical chemistry had a reward analytical chemistry which was Special Stage Four - Nido de Condores, Santuario. This stage would drain the remaining energy of the riders and they all unanimously agreed that this Special was the most complex of the day with the 1,100 meters of vertical and a 16 minute duration which left everyone analytical chemistry exhausted. analytical chemistry
The day ended in the picnic area of the Nature Sanctuary where the river was used to relieve muscles and even clean the bikes of their accumulated dust. The winner analytical chemistry of the day was the World Champion Jerome Clementz who took the lead with 45:29 minutes to the Chilean National Champion Nico Prudencio analytical chemistry who came in at 46:23 minutes. Third place went to François Bailly- Maitre with a time of 47:27 minutes.

someone said "Snowboarding for 2014 Olympics" and look what happened! hotels with two toilets, crappy snowmaking, and improperly lit olympic rings that look like melted snowflakes! Leave it alone. Keep it on the trails!

Yes, he has been on a 650B since the end of the 2013 EWS. Clearly the guy prefers 26" but I am sure the pressures of Cannondale marketing machine are too much. I wonder what Jared Graves will do, since Yeti does not seem to have a proper replacement for what seems to be one of the very best all around bikes out there, the SB66 Carbon. Apparently the SB75 is not even close to it.
If i recall correctly from a Vital MTB interview analytical chemistry with him after he won the XC race in Australia a few months back, Jared made it clear he would be riding the SB66 if he has the preference when he was asked about the 75 during the interview.
big wheels are mostly marketing! intended to make everyone analytical chemistry buy new bikes so why even look for a replacement of a perfect bike with something inferior if its about racing performance? Pretty much all the "positive" analytical chemistry effects like stability can be achieved with clever frame design and geometry as well without the downside of weak and soft or at the same stiffness significantly heavier and slower accelerating big wheel buts its simpler to tell people that something is all new and improved if there is something so visible like bigger wheels on a bike vs. half a degree flatter head angle and get them to swipe their credit cards. So dear yetis, if you read any of these blogs pleas keep the SB66 as it is, I will need another one for next season once my current one is worn out...
Jerome is a machine. Doesn't matter the elevation or trail, he just shreds it. So consistent too. I think it's gonna be a couple more years before anyone in the EWS will take his ti

How do you write about SVS subwoofers and not sound like a fanboy? Seriously, I'd like to know. Because unless you are some sort of audio elitist with deep pockets that believes that no value priced product can be good, you've got to love SVS. While they have high dollar products in their line-up, their bread and butter is helping the common man realize his (or her) dream of bass that will make your neighbors call the police.
The new 2000 series subwoofers from SVS were announced today at CES. Sporting 12" drivers, a brand new Sledge STA-500D amplifier, sub 20Hz performance, wonderful and price tags under $800, you could know nothing else and still think they were a good deal. But that's not all. The new drivers are custom designed by SVS. They developed nearly 20 different prototypes before they got the performance they wanted. This included 100-hours of full power testing! The driver sports dual high-grade ferrite magnets and an FEA-optimized motor to reduce distortion. It has a reinforced Nomex spider for increased linearity and a durable low-creep rubber long-throw surround and high-quality insulated tinsel leads with 3-point-contact precision alignment.
The reason for all these driver improvements is not just to increase performance and to improve longevity. The new Sledge STA-500D amplifier is conservatively rated 500 watts RMS continuous and 1100 watts peak dynamic and is described by SVS as delivering "crushing power". SVS felt that no normal driver would be able to stand up to their new amp. But power isn't the only thing in the STA-500D arsenal. This amp has integrated DSP controls for fine-tuning your bass experience for your particular environment. While specifics are unavaliable, SVS says the STA-500D has, "an array of filters," as well as volume, gain, and phase controls. There is a frequency-dependent limiter/compressor algorithm with adjustable attack/release and compression parameters to protect your subwoofer performance wonderful from accidental volume increases.
The SVS 2000 series subs come in two flavors - sealed and ported. The SB-2000 (pic at the top of this article) wonderful is sealed and is just large enough to enclose the driver wonderful and amp (14.2" cube). It weighs in at an impressive 35lbs and brags a usable frequency response down to 19Hz! It looks to have a fairly standard black ash vinyl wrap which is to be expected at this price point. This is the perfect sub for those on a budget that want performance but don't have the room for a larger sub. While other manufacturers charge more for their smaller subs (usually because of the larger amp requirements), the SB-2000 is the less expensive of the pair at $699.
The PB-2000 has a front-firing port for easier placement but has all the same components as the SB-2000. With the ported enclosure, SVS was able to tune the PB-2000 to a staggering 17Hz low point. The PB-2000 is much larger than the sealed 2000 series sub at 20.9 x 17.3 x 22 . The PB-2000 is also much heavier at 66 pounds so you'll probably want to get some of those carpet sliders until you get the PB-2000 into the perfect position. The extra materials in constructing wonderful the enclosure bump up the price of the PB-2000 $100 to $799.  Conclusion
So, which SVS 2000 series sub is for you? Without getting our hands on them, it is hard to say. Generally, the smaller, sealed subs have larger amps so that they can match the output of their larger, ported brethren. The fact that both the subs have the same amp indicates that the smaller one will have less output. So, if you have a smaller room that is enclosed, you could probably save $100 and go with the SB-2000. If you have a larger room, or one that is open to other rooms, the larger PB-2000 will probably work better wonderful for you. Regardless, our experience wonderful with SVS suggests that either will probably knock your socks off. At less than $800 each and sporting a DSP-enable amplifier, SVS is offering technology normally reserved for subwoofers two or three times the asking price of 2000 series. So, again, I ask, how can you report on SVS without sounding like a fanboy? Beca

#MondayMuffins: PB and J
Lately she’s been getting up after being put to bed crying that she’s still hungry.  I’m not starving my child-she berry plastics is eating berry plastics at least two dinners but they seem to wear-off almost instantly. berry plastics
I started with a bit of white and brown sugar, peanut butter and coconut oil. Normally I buy the unsweetened pb but this time I was able to get an enormous jar of organic berry plastics but sweetened.  As a result I cut down the sugar in this recipe but I’ve added in how to use unsweetened pb to the recipe.
Ingredients 1 cup smooth peanut butter 1/4 cup white sugar 1/3 of a cup of brown sugar( if you've peanut butter is unsweetened berry plastics use 2/3 cup) 1/3 cup coconut oil into 1 cup of milk (I used almond milk for extra nutty flavour) 2 cups of flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 12 teaspoon strawberry berry plastics jam
Instructions Cream together; sugars, pb, coconut oil until fluffy and smooth. Fold in milk, flour and baking powder. Place 3 T of the batter into the bottom berry plastics of large muffins papers (12). Top with 1 tsp of jam and then 2 T more of the batter. Bake for 15-20 minutes (knife should come out cleanly) at 350 degrees.

b a k e a h o l i c
As we age Valentine’s Day progresses from an array of homemade cards in paper bag mailboxes, conversation and cinnamon hearts, hallmark cards and a single red rose with an off the shelf heart shaped box of chocolates. We were young and didn’t know the finer things in life such as Thomas Haas, Valrhona or Scharffen Berger.
As we grew up we realized the importance of the Valentine’s Day dinner date, and the dessert course. I remember the first time I was ‘single’ for Valentine’s day – I’m certain the amount of chocolate consumed doubled that year.
A year ago for our anniversary I wasn’t feeling great (somehow I am always sick for these things) at least I think it was last year? and I think it was for our anniversary? Anyway, Adam and I went to Milestones. I can’t remember if we actually ordered food or not, or just stuck to cocktails and dessert. I think the latter sounds more accurate. (I’m a fan of desserts).
They had these dessert shots on the menu so you could indulge with just a little teaser shot to curb your craving. We shared 3 different shots, all equally delicious. When I wanted to create Valentine’s Day recipes I thought about food couples (PB&J , graham crackers and marshmallows ) and of course I couldn’t neglect my beloved peanut butter and chocolate.
Word to the wise, it is definitely rich, but not in a tooth-sickenly sweet way. Because there is no added sugar, it’s a more bittersweet chocolate and the combination is just thick, definitely the ganache aspect. My favourite part about any square (like Nanaimo intermolecular forces bars ) is the base layer. The chocolate intermolecular forces crumb is my most favourite to eat. The ganache is a slightly thicker version of my raw chocolate mousse recipe.
Even better – it’s Raw, Vegan, Wheat-Free, Gluten-Free intermolecular forces and Dairy-Free for all your Valentine’s happy stomach needs. Because, who wants to have an upset stomach on Valentine’s day?
An amazing, raw & vegan chocolate peanut butter torte done two ways. Easy to prepare, no sugar added, decadent and still borderline healthy ;) Share with someone you love this Valentine's Day. (v) (wf) (gf) (df) (r)
Instructions 1. In a food processor add the cocoa and walnuts. Pulse until well combined. Add the agave and pulse again until dough forms. 2. In small glass, or ramekin lined with parchment, or mini quick-release intermolecular forces pan, add chocolate base layer, smooth down with the backside of a small spoon. Drizzle peanut butter over top of the base evenly. Place in Fridge while preparing next layer. If making the dessert intermolecular forces shots, press base layer in bottom and spoon in peanut butter - it doesn't have to be pretty. intermolecular forces In fact a delicious mess is even better. 3. Clean food processor to get rid of any excess crumbs from the dough. Add the soaked cashews, intermolecular forces cocoa powder and coconut oil. Process for 2 minutes, intermolecular forces then scrape down the sides. Continue to process and add in the 2-3. Tbs of water until it forms a ganache/mousse. Add more/less water if needed until thick mousse-like ganache consistency. 4. Remove base from fridge and spoon chocolate mousse layer over top. Return to fridge to chill 2-3 hours before eating. Can prepare the night before.
Notes You can make this either in small glasses (I used water glasses) or in ramekin lined with parchment paper. If you have a small quick-release pan you can use that as well. The ingredients will make enough for a large tart, or 2-3 small individual cups/shots. You can make this a day or two in advance, just cover with plastic wrap until ready to eat.

Team GB ultimately finished 10th after Stacey Kemp and David King scored 44.70 in the short programm

As officials including the British Olympic Association chairman metanol Lord Coe talked up Team GB's chances at the Sochi Games a day before the opening ceremony, figure skater Matthew Parr was already completing what is likely to be his first and only appearance. metanol
The first British male figure skater to compete at the Olympics since Steven Cousins in 1998, Parr scored a personal best 57.40 in the inaugural team figure skating contest. "It couldn't have gone any better for me, my goal was to get a personal best and I've achieved that. I'm very pleased and it went as well as I could have hoped," he said. "It was a nice release to have finished and put in a performance that I'll be proud of."
Team GB ultimately finished 10th after Stacey Kemp and David King scored 44.70 in the short programme of the figure skating, with Jenna McCorkell and ice dancers metanol Penny Coomes metanol and Nick Buckland due to skate on Saturday. Only the top five teams qualify.
Unlike the others, however, the four-times British champion metanol Parr is only eligible to compete in the team event, and unless there is a major upset, his first Games' metanol experience will last the length of his short programme around three minutes and effectively be over one day before the official opening ceremony. But Parr said: "Obviously I would like to skate again, there is no doubt about that. But, either way, I am proud of my performance today and I am going to enjoy supporting not only the figure skaters, but the entire British team."
Jon Eley, the short-track speed skater selected to carry the British flag at Friday's opening ceremony, said he was confident that Team GB could equal its best ever Winter Olympic tally of four medals. "I think we can but we have to put in some hard work and stay focused and strong. If we do what we have come here to do we should achieve that," he said.
Mike Hay, the Team GB chef de mission, said that as a "canny Scot" he was inclined to err on the side of caution but that the 56-strong British team was the best prepared ever sent to the Winter Games. "I have been very fortunate to be in a position where I have a number of athletes who are competing at a world-class level at winter sports," metanol he said. "It doesn't guarantee you win any medals, of course, but I would rather sit here with athletes of that calibre, with that opportunity to convert and to get medals."
Eley, metanol competing at his third Games, praised metanol the facilities and said there was a growing feeling of optimism around a team that has been charged with winning between three and seven medals metanol by UK Sport, the funding agency that has invested 14m over four years in winter sport. "It has grown from the three games I have been to and this has a really good vibe about it, from the success everyone has had individually and now coming together, everyone does feel as if they are in a strong team. We talk about one Team GB and hopefully we can produce performances to go with it."
On a day when there was renewed concern about security metanol following reports of US homeland security warning of bomb making materials being smuggled into Russia in toothpaste tubes, Coe said the British team had received no information regarding a specific threat.
Hay said he was happy with the security set-up, which remained reasonably low key despite the huge numbers metanol of Russian soldiers and police involved. "I would say here it hasn't been heavy-handed, our athletes metanol understand that they go through screening, which is for their own good," he said. "It's not an inconvenience, we leave ourselves enough time to go from the village to the venue. Our athletes are pretty relaxed about it."

Made with just just 4 ingredients – bananas, oats, peanut butter and jelly, these cookies are meant to eat warm right out of the oven for a fun spin on my 3-ingredient healthy cookie recipe . I'm so addicted to making these cookies. Whenever my bananas are over-ripe, I whip up a batch which takes only minutes. These are best when the bananas are super ripe as their natural sweetness is what's used to sweeten the cookies. Keep in mind they aren't crisp like a dessert cookie. Instead these are moist and chewy and best eaten warm, right out of the oven. They are great as an afternoon snack or healthy enough to have for breakfast if you wish. You can easily make half the portion with just 1 banana if you want to make less.
I've made them with walnuts which tasted like banana bread, I've tried them with chocolate chips which so yummy! This time I decided to switch things up and see what happens if I add some chunky peanut butter to the batter and top them with reduced sugar jelly – yum! Combine the mashed bananas and peanut butter in a medium bowl. Add the oats and mix until thoroughly combined. na2co3 Place batter by tablespoons (little na2co3 more than level) na2co3 on the cookie sheet, making an indent with the back of the measuring na2co3 spoon. Gina, you are awesome! I just made some of the chocolate chip ones last week (not for the first time...lol), and now I have another banana that is ready to go. I was going to make the chocolate chip ones again this morning, but now I'm going to make these instead! I love PB&J, so I'm sure they will turn out great. I only have creamy almond butter and blackberry jelly on hand (which are my favorites anyway), so that's what I'm going to use. Thanks for another fun and healthy recipe!! ~Ashley Reply Delete
This was meant to be...I had three ripe bananas thinking I need to cook with these today and your FB post popped up! They are great! Kids love them and husband too! Thank you for great timing! Reply Delete

Could you use PB2 powder? Reply Delete
I just made these & they are easy & very good. I used smooth P.B. because that's what I had but I think chunky would be better. Added some raisins. Next time I add some chopped pecans. Thanks for a great recipe! Reply Delete
If you're using regular oats, instead of the quick cooking...I na2co3 was told that you put it in the food processor and pulse a little (not until it's powder, na2co3 but just break it down a little.) I hope that helps! I have a batch in now that I did this method, they seem fine! Delete
I'm making these today! When I have over ripe bananas but no time to use them, I freeze them until I do have time. Right now I have quite a few frozen ripe bananas! Thanks for this recipe. My granddaughters will love having these for an after school snack. Debbie...(0; <>< na2co3 Reply Delete
Yum...I've made these several times and what I like best is to add 3 to 4 blueberries on top before putting in the oven. I found that trying to mix them in makes for a messy sticky cookie after its done. (even on a silpat) Instead I just push them into the cookie and they come out delicious! I think instead of jelly I may go for mashed up strawberries with the peanut butter in this version! Reply Delete
I don't mean to be rude, truly I don't. However, na2co3 if a recipe has only four ingredients and you don't want to use one of them, then I would suggest na2co3 that this isn't the recipe for you. Delete
I am loving these recipes. I didn't have any quick oats on hand but did have WW oats with brn sugar. OMGosh.. they were so good. I added a point 'cause I wanted my 2 right now and didn't want to calculate the points. :) I am going to try grating some orange na2co3 zest with the original recipe and use SF apricot jelly. I have to be careful, I could make these more than the original 2 points then I am defeating my purpose. thank you for such a great recipe. Reply Delete
OMG! This is a genius idea! My kids are banana and PB fanatics. I usually make them banana "boats" where I carve out a sliver of banana down the middle and fill it with PB and then top it with a few raisins. They love it. This sounds like another great idea. I can'

In 2013,  Apple's stock was in a tail spin ,  analysts were slashing EPS targets , and there were daily reports of  Apple cutting its iPhone production  (or it  felt   that   way ).
At promotion the same time,  Samsung was the most beloved company in the tech media . It was praised  for its innovation  and its forthcoming  Galaxy S4 was all anyone cared about . It had stolen Apple's thunder.
As for Apple, its stock isn't screaming to the moon, but it's not in a downward spiral, either. Analysts are fairly steady on the company, and  there is a sense of optimism , albeit low-level optimism, promotion about the year.
It really feels like 2013 was a down year for Apple as it reset itself to launch new product categories in the next five years or so. If ever there was a year for Apple's rivals to leap past the company, it was 2013, and it didn't happen. (Although, these things don't happen over night. If Apple really promotion screwed the pooch in 2013, we'll probably realize it in 2016.)
Another big difference for Apple as we enter 2014 is that it seems much more clear that the company really knows what it's doing with the iPhone business, despite the various cries from the pundit class.
Ever since Android started making noise people have been warning Apple that the iPhone was in danger. There is, of course, no louder proponent of this notion than our own Henry Blodget. promotion (I don't mean to pick on Blodget, he just happens to be someone that I work with, and is the best at articulating this commonly held view that Apple needs to tweak its iPhone business model.)
The iPhone 5S comes in three colors; silver, gold, and "space grey."  The new devices will be available in three sizes; 16gb at $199, 32gb at $299, 64gb at $399 on a two year contract. (Click Image To Enlarge)
Last year looked like the year Blodget and his people were going to be right. In the March quarter,  Apple's iPhone sales only grew by 7% , a stunning crash in the company's annual quarterly growth.   In August,  Android captured 79.3% of the smartphone market, up from 69.1%  the year prior. Apple, meanwhile, promotion had just 13.3% of the smartphone market, down from 16.6% the year prior.
I think Blodget's wrong, and it's promotion actually never been clearer that Apple's decision to stay the course with its iPhone business has been the exact right decision. While th

For this news, Genomatica has been building up the downstream applications for its bio-based butanediol (BDO) and at the K Show, the company announced partners such as DSM and Lanxess achieving product milestones in the use Genomatica’s BDO to make bio-based PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) – a thermoplastic engineering polymer made from BDO and terephthalic acid, and is closely related to thermoplastic polyesters such as PET.
In June, Lanxess announced that it has converted 20 tons of BDO made with Genomatica’s process at their world-scale PBT plant. At the K Show, some of Lanxess’ customers such as Mennekes bostik and Trevira have showcased bostik product samples that used bio-PBT incorporating Genomatica’s BDO technology.
Electrical products bostik producer Mennekes bostik has made electrical junction boxes while Trevira, a manufacturer of high-tech polyester fibers bostik and filaments, made a non-woven technical textile that are often used in protective clothing. I guess now they just have to wait for any of Genomatica’s process licensee to produce bio-BDO materials so they can start marketing these products. After 12 years at Apple leading the design of the iPod and iPhone, Tony Fadell told his friends and family he was leaving one of the most valuable companies on the planet to make thermostats. (Could there be anything less glamorous?) Not surprisingly, his move elicited a collective, Are you insane?   ketones But yesterday Google announced it was forking over $3.2 billion in cash for Fadell s company,  Nest , which makes a smart device called the Learning Thermostat and a smart smoke detector ketones called Protect. Not such a crazy move after all.  ketones
They re probably making a play at what we call the connected home, a ubiquitous networking with low-cost ketones sensor devices, and they ll start building all different kinds of functionality inside modern domestic environments.  The fact that they paid $3.2 billion for a company created with a very attractive product that s getting traction it s a very large investment, even for Google. My take as an analyst is, this is part of a bigger strategy ketones for home tech.
But Google ketones is acquiring so much more than thermostats and smoke detectors that go for $250 and $130, respectively.  It s getting a learning algorithm that s integrated in Nest products, which interact ketones with homeowners rather than just implementing their commands.  Geschickter says.
They re purchasing the customer base and brand name, which Nest has done a good job of popping up very quickly.  When you break it down, there are a couple of different key pieces of intellectual property that have legs.
When a behemoth tech company like Google places its chips on the table, everyone starts to listen, and this could be the big break that the home tech sector ketones has been looking for.   Architect Steven Randel  says.
I m really blown away by this news.  I think that Google sees a huge lapse in the technology in this specific area. They re going to try and move in on it because no one else is doing it. All these different home tech devices, nothing is coordinated together; that s what Google is trying to go for. You ll see them begin to integrate all these different devices, and they ll communicate to one source. ketones
The company is interested in home automation and the Internet of things because Google s specialty is better living through algorithms.  The Nest thermostat, as well as the company s smoke detectors, are intelligent. They learn and adapt. Eventually all these smart things in the home will be connected ketones to each other and to the people who live there through smart phones and

A legal notice was sent to World Medical Association (WMA) president, Dr. Margaret Mungherera from Uganda, on behalf of PBT by a law firm in Ohio for not taking any action to remove disgraced ex-MCI chief, Dr. Ketan Desai, from the post of president-elect (see below). Using his sinister influence, Dr. Desai managed to grab the post of WMA president-elect in 2009 when he was also holding the lucrative post of MCI president. But after Dr. Desai was caught red-handed by CBI while taking bribe from a private medical college in 2010, WMA eventually suspended his post of president-elect under enormous pressure from PBT and other groups. But on October 19, 2013, WMA reinstated Dr. Desai to his post of president-elect because, as WMA claimed, all charges against Dr. Desai had been withdrawn by CBI.
After PBT president, Dr. Kunal Saha, wrote to CBI, it was informed that the information that all charges against Dr. Desai was withdrawn by CBI is nothing but an “eye wash”. In fact, CBI court in Saket website still shows that the criminal case against Dr. Desai is pending. After PBT brought this huge blunder nahco3 to the attention of WMA president, Dr. Mungherera, and their head office in Paris and urged WMA to reinstate the ban against Dr. Desai, WMA has remained absolutely silent. The legal notice sent to the WMA president gives her two weeks time to admit their mistake and remove Dr. Desai from the post of president-elect after which a lawsuit may be filed against this international medical body before an appropriate authority.

Over the holidays, Apple's iPad and iPhone sold better d24 than they've ever sold before:  51 million d24 iPhones and 26 million iPads in a single quarter . The lowly iPod, however, didn't do nearly as well. The company d24 moved just 6 million of the trademark MP3 players, d24 a 52 percent decline compared to the same period last year. All told, iPod accounted for just $973 million of the company's record $57.6 billion revenue last quarter. While some would probably d24 be happy to claim they ran a slightly-less-than-a-billion-dollar business, it's getting pretty small for a company the size of Apple.  You might even call it a hobby   if not now, then by this time next year.
What happened to the iPod?  Simple cannibalization, for one: every one of those 51 million d24 iPhones can take the place of an iPod. (Steve Jobs famously called the iPhone "the d24 best iPod we've ever made.") And as people d24 increasingly get their music from streaming services, a constant internet connection could be key, something you don't get with an iPod or even a iPod touch unless you have a Wi-Fi hotspot d24 to pair with.
The decline of MP3 players shouldn't be news to anyone though, certainly not to anyone who follows Apple closely.  In June, 2009 , Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer admitted that cannibalizing the company's MP3 players was all part of the plan:
Since 2009, iPod sales have declined time and again. For five years, every quarterly financial call would include a dedicated mention of how the company's "music product" sales had slipped by a million units here, a couple million units there. Every time, Apple would soften the blow by saying how the iPod still had a 70 percent market share in MP3 players in the US, and remained the top-selling MP3 player around the world.
But in the middle of last year, the company changed its tune. It failed to introduce any new iPods ( unless you count the cheaper $229 iPod touch ) and removed that dedicated section from its quarterly d24 conference calls.
The lack of new iPods could certainly be responsible for the most recent decline in sales. Usually, purchases pick up drastically every time Apple releases a new iPod, and this year they clearly did not. Still, that's not the whole story: as you can see in the chart above, the peaks had been shrinking even before Apple stopped  updating the iPod nano like clockwork.
In 2001, Apple's Steve Jobs unveiled the iPod a new "breakthrough digital device"  that could store up to 1,000 "digital songs in your pocket," and was "ultra-portable" s
