In 2015, more than a hundred students have submitted their projects for the competition Talking chemistry. Of these only 8 pairs - from all over France but also abroad - were selected to participate in the national final in Paris to school Chimie ParisTech. The contest Talk Chemistry: what is it?
Talking Chemistry is a communication competition first! The goal: to show the chemistry and its applications in everyday life, to contribute to improving the image of chemistry to different audiences.
To participate in this contest, first and final school of students (all segments) implement a communication action on an issue that is part of the problems of the current chemistry in connection with a regional activity or occupation chemistry for a defined audience.
Applicants submit at first their online projects and students whose projects were selected are invited to Paris for an oral exam on the premises mrl of Chimie ParisTech! 2015 Chemistry speak: projects in adequacies with the problems of the current chemistry
This year, 8 projects supported in the final of the national competition have very different profiles. Of molecular gastronomy to the revolutionary glue to weld human tissue through biofuels, chemical addiction, the electronic cigarette or olive oil, the projects submitted for the 2015 edition are in line with current themes or regional activities. mrl
Each group had 40 minutes to present their project and engaged communication actions. Only two groups are awarded at the end of the deliberations of the jury composed of professionals from the world of communication and chemistry.
