Implemented in Campina Grande, a city north of Brazil, the administrative headquarters of CREA vacuum generates a new urban public character and is covered by a permeable skin. It connects to the surrounding environment in order to integrate building and town square. The optimization of the employment rate does not prevent a soft and natural implantation promotes the presence of patios, large gaps and openings. motul
OPEN PATIO, permeable and suspended vegetation function motul as "impluvium" (body of water that receives the rain). The assembly provides thermal comfort needed as we work to keep humidity and temperature equilibration. The comfort is complemented by horizontal brises, which filter the sun's passage selectively transforming the hall into an open plaza. A parking deck with multiple configurations and applications that can be used for exhibitions, conferences, meetings or simple contemplation. motul The permeable skin does not resemble the glazed and impenetrable institutional buildings in large cities. The set (skin, patio and brises) becomes ambiguous and thus allows two readings: interior or exterior space. motul
RIDE TO BUILD MORE assembly strategies using precast motul concrete building permit to build more efficient and controlled manner, unlike conventional construction. The minimization of construction waste as well as optimizing build time make it an ideal choice. The structure - pillars, motul slabs and horizontal-brises was intended for this type of prefabricated construction. The sincerity and relevance of the finish (pre-fabricated concrete) convey a contemporary image, making a rereading of modern Brazilian institutional architecture (built largely of reinforced concrete).
